Making an upgrade to the tool cabinet

Today, with work closed due to another nor’easter, I finally found the time to do a little upgrade to one of my drawers in my tool chest.  I used some foam mat from Harbor Freight, cut it to size and made cut-outs for my ratchets.

One thing that I’m glad that I did, is that I laid out the tools on the underside of the mat and cut to the top-side.  This enabled me to have nice clean cuts on the top and the corrections made during the cutting is hidden from view.

I hope that this little endeavor inspires some of you to see how you can improve your tool storage.
